Therapist

FT therapist needed to work 2^nd shift, providing counseling services to emotionally disturbed adolescents in a psychiatric residential treatment center.  Will also provide clinical services including individual and group therapy to clients.  The right individual must possess an MA in agency counseling or related field and be licensed (or licensed eligible) to practice.  Must be available to work 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Mon - Friday.  Salary up to $50K, plus company paid medical and dental benefits.  Resumes accepted, bbuchanan@youthfocus.org.

Administrative Support

Substance Abuse Therapist/Program Director

Provide substance abuse treatment services to adolescents in residential/non-residential programs in both Greensboro and Durham, NC.   Must be willing to travel between programs providing services for three days in Durham and two days in Greensboro.  Minimum requirements include MA in human services and LCAS credentials. Salary up to 60K plus company paid medical and dental.

 

PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES

 

 

Community Support Technician

 

Staff member needed to work P/T providing in-home service to at-risk children/adolescents within the community.  Will provide one-on-one activities with the client, parents, or other caregiver.  Will also assist client with development, & educational goals.  BA/BS degree/experience preferred.  Work 10-20 hrs. per week.  Salary up to $14/hr. 

 

 

 

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

 

Volunteer and/or Internship Opportunity

Work 10-20 hours per week (900 hours total) either as a volunteer or as a student intern (preferably in the human services discipline).  Will work in a group home with female clients who are transitioning to independent living.  Some clients may be pregnant or parenting.

 

This position is sponsored by Americorp and after successful completion, the volunteer earns $2300.00 to help pay for educational expenses. 

 

Foster Parents

Seeking parents to join the Therapeutic Foster Care Program.  people will receive training, support, guidance, and financial support.  Learn new skill sand develop meaningful relationships as you provide direction to at-risk youths.  For more information, call 375-8333.

 

 

 

Note: Those applicants who are extended an offer must be available for an extensive training program, including a four part orientation program and on-the-job training.  New hires will be compensated at their regular rate of pay.
