Youth Focus therapists work with young people ages 6 to 17 and their families to resolve mental health problems including and behavior problems, both at home and school.  A fee is charged via a sliding fee scale but all fees will be waived upon request. The following types of counseling are available:

Our counseling program has as its’ major goal the treatment of young people with mental health and behavioral health problems. We do this by providing individual, group and family therapy as well as parent education services. Our counselors also conduct group counseling in the public schools to more efficiently serve clients that meet our eligibility requirements. Our full time staff psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations for clients and can prescribe medication when needed.  As a result of statewide mental health reform our Counseling Program is one of the few sources of professional mental health services available to clients regardless of their ability to pay a fee.
