  • Please come to our General Staff Meeting. The General Staff Meeting is held at 9:15 AM, the first Monday of every month, in the second floor board room of the Dorothy Bardolph Center, 301 E. Washington Street. All staff are invited to attend unless doing so would jeopardize staffing patterns in your program.
  • We welcome your feedback on ways to improve our services. If you have suggestions on ways that we can improve our services or additional services that are needed that are not available, please tell your supervisor, or come to our next Continuous Quality Improvement meeting.
  • Training Calendar - Training in areas such as first aid, CPR, NCI is offered regularly. Please check "Moodle" to see the current training calendar: www.training.youthfocus.org
  • Keep your training up to date! Staff whose critical training is not up to date will not be allowed to work. See Policy 1350.

President Bush Visits Youth Focus

President Bush Visits Youth Focus
Youth Focus has received since 2005, funds from the federal Health and Human Services Department to help fund a Mentoring Children of Prisoners (MCP) program. This program, a component of our Big Brothers Big Sisters program, serves young people who have an adult who is incarcerated by matching the young person with an adult role model. Our local program has served 147 children since its inception. Nationally the program has served over 100,000 children.
