The Greensboro Arm Wrestling League presents virtual GRAWL-o-ween Trivia Night.
Join us October 28th from 7:30-9PM for this fun event that benefits Youth Focus’ Act Together Crisis Care. This Halloween-themed, all-ages game is appropriate for all skill levels and will feature door prizes that any trivia participant can win.
Players can join the trivia team for one of their favorite arm wrestlers or play with Youth Focus’ arm wrestler, Lebronia Alpha Kappa Alpha James. The winning team will win bragging rights and GRAWL swag. Every participant will be entered into raffles for door prizes which include: $50 Amazon gift card, $50 Flemming’s gift card, $25 Fandango gift card, or $25 gift card for Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel or the Cheesecake Factory.
Youth Focus creates safe places for vulnerable youth in crisis. Programs for youth include a crisis shelter that operates around-the-clock 365 days a year, three supportive housing programs for youth experiencing homelessness, an outpatient counseling program, and the Safe Place program. Sustainable funding is vital to keeping our doors open for youth in crisis, and we depend on financial support from our local community. Funding is provided by government grants, corporations and foundations, and individuals like you.
We’d like to take a moment to thank GRAWL. Our community has so many wonderful non-profits and we’re grateful to have their support.
GRAWL is asking you to make a $15/per person donation to participate in the event. If you are making a registration donation for more than just yourself, please indicate the number of additional people you are covering through your registration donation in the comment section. (If you would like for them to receive log-in instructions directly, please include their first name, last name, and email address. Otherwise, you will need to forward log-in information once you receive it. )
Registration donations are not considered a “charitable” gift but GRAWL is generously donating registration proceeds to Youth Focus.
So every $15 you spend to be a part of the event is going towards youth in our community. Additional gifts are always welcomed and will go a long way in helping us meet our fundraising goal for Act Together. Any gift above the registration donation would be considered a charitable gift for tax purposes.
