Get Involved

Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities vary based on our needs, your availability, and your unique skill set. We are always in need of extra hands with open hearts.

Donate

Every donation makes a difference. Youth Focus is funded through a combination of state and federal grants and private donations.

Spread the Word

Attend or host an event, share a post on social media, invite us to speak at your event, tell a friend or youth in need about the work we do.

Make a Difference

Youth Focus creates safe places for vulnerable youth in crisis. Programs for youth include a crisis shelter that operates around-the-clock 365 days a year, three supportive housing programs for youth experiencing homelessness, an outpatient counseling program, and the Safe Place program. Sustainable funding is vital to keeping our doors open for youth in crisis, and we depend on financial support from our local community. Funding is provided by government grants, corporations and foundations, and individuals like you.

Take a Tour

We want to invite you to learn more about our work by taking a tour of our mission. Usually, we do our agency tours at one of our programs, but we are currently limiting visitors because of COVID. The great news is you can take a tour from the comfort of your own home!

Volunteer with Us

It takes a village, and Youth Focus is appreciative of any and all community support. Individuals, groups and corporations are all equally appreciated and needed volunteers.

Donate to Youth Focus

Youth Focus is funded through a combination of local/state/federal partnerships and private donations. As the funding landscape continues to evolve, we become increasingly dependent on the financial support of the local community we serve. Additionally, many of the funds that Youth Focus brings to Guilford County from state and federal resources require the local community’s investment.
