1. How would you describe your job in a few words to a stranger?

I serve at Act Together with youth that are experiencing homelessness.

2. What is your favorite thing about working with Youth Focus?

Getting to know each youth for who they present themselves to be and not by what their documentation say about them.

4.  What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from?

“Love what you do and do what you love.” My 7th-8th grade teacher, Jeremy Stevens.

5. What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Never change who you are for ANYONE! Always be your authentic self.

 6. What’s the biggest misconception people have about teens and young adults today?

They’re troubled, lazy, and disobedient. What I’ve noticed is that they’re misunderstood and they just want someone to genuinely be there for them and see them for who they are.
